This is one of many small mantle radios in the 30's that drove the cost of owning a radio down. For $18.95 you could own this 4 tube TRF radio complete with resistance power cord, semi hot chassis and metal cabinet. There was however at least a thin piece of cardboard separating the cabinet from the chassis. Sadly, reception was poor and so was sound quality. 2 years after this was made, these small mantle radios had improved drastically.
